Weekly Meals

Ordering weekly meals is my way of putting a homemade dinner on your table without the planning, shopping, or prep. Every other week, a new menu is released featuring four comforting, family-friendly meals made fresh by Second Spoon. Each meal feeds four and typically features a main, a side, and a vegetable unless otherwise noted. Meals are $50 each, with larger or smaller portions available by request. Menus are announced Monday and ordering closes Thursday at noon. Pickups and deliveries are scheduled for anytime after Sunday evening at 5 PM, so you can head into the week with one less thing to worry about, and really good dinners waiting in the fridge.

FAQs

How many meals can I order at once?

As many as you’d like! Each meal feeds four, so you can order one for a family dinner or stock up for the week. Need more or less? Larger and smaller portions are available by request.

Can I order something off the menu?

The Weekly Meal program works from the menu posted for that week, so I don’t typically offer custom meals or substitutions. If you’re looking for something specific, though, you can always reach out and I may be able to help!

Can I submit a late order?

Maybe! Orders officially close Thursday at noon so I have enough time to shop, prep, and make everything fresh. If you miss the cutoff, reach out and I’ll let you know if I have room to squeeze you in. No promises, but it never hurts to ask!

Can I make substitutions?

Because each menu is planned and prepared as a complete meal, I’m not generally able to accommodate substitutions. That said, I’m happy to make a simple swap when I can. Just make your request when you order, and I’ll let you know if I’m able to accommodate it. However, some substitutions may come with an additional charge depending on the ingredient. More involved changes may require a custom catering order.

How do you handle allergies?

I take food allergies seriously. Because Second Spoon prepares a variety of foods in a shared commercial kitchen, I can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment or prevent cross-contact. If you have an allergy, please reach out before ordering so we can talk through the menu and determine whether a meal is appropriate for you.

Do you include cooking instructions?

Absolutely! Every meal comes with simple reheating and serving instructions, so dinner can go from the fridge to the table with as little guesswork as possible.

Do you deliver?

Absolutely! Second Spoon delivers throughout Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, Johnstown/Milliken, and Southeast Fort Collins. A $10 delivery fee is added to each order. Prefer to pick up? Pickup is available in both Greeley and Johnstown.

Catering

Whether you’re hosting a milestone birthday, a holiday gathering, a backyard wedding, or simply celebrating with the people you love, Second Spoon brings thoughtful, homemade food to the table without adding more work to your plate.

I’ll help you create a menu that feels like you, and that's built around the occasion, the season, and the people you’re feeding. My hope is that my food feels generous, familiar, and just a little bit special.

Below are a few examples of menus I’ve created for past gatherings. They’re meant to give you a taste of what Second Spoon can do, but no two events have to look exactly alike.

Charcuterie & Grazing

Sometimes you don’t need the full meal, you just need a really good snack. Second Spoon creates charcuterie boards and grazing tables for wedding cocktail hours, get-togethers, happy hours, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and all the other little reasons worth gathering around a table.

I’ll build your spread around the occasion, the season, and the people you’re feeding, with a mix of cheeses, meats, fruit, nuts, sweets, and all the little extras that make a grazing board fun to explore. Whether you’re looking for something beautiful to put out for guests or a centerpiece that doubles as dinner, I’ll make it feel thoughtful, abundant, and a little bit special.

About Second Spoon

I’ve always loved cooking for people. In fact, it’s probably my favorite love language. I live by the motto I saw on a Penzy's Spice jar, “Love people. Cook them good food.”

I grew up watching the Food Network religiously. It was on frequently in my house, and cooking shows had a way of making me feel calm. I learned so much just by watching how to make things, how to put flavors together, and, maybe most importantly, how food can bring people together.

Just like so many people, I learned a lot about cooking and gathering around food from family, too. I still text my dad just to thank him for something he taught me years ago. A lot of what I know started with him... and Grandma.

For nearly 20 years, though, cooking was just something I loved. I built a career in the nonprofit world, but in January of 2026, I walked away without really knowing what came next. I just knew I wanted to cook for people. I didn’t have a five-year plan. I didn’t have a perfectly mapped-out business. I just started cooking.

And somewhere along the way, Second Spoon happened.

Now, I’ve recently realized something that probably should have been obvious all along: I feel the most calm when I’m cooking. Friends will text me and ask, “What are you up to?” and more often than not, my answer is, “I’m in my happy place. I’m cooking!”

Second Spoon feels like home to me now.

It’s a place where I get to make food I’m excited about, share it with people, and create the kind of meals and gatherings that make people feel cared for. Sometimes that means a weeknight dinner waiting in the fridge. Sometimes it’s a grazing table for a room full of friends. Sometimes it’s a backyard wedding, a birthday, or a table full of people who just wanted a reason to get together.

Whatever the occasion, I think good food has a way of saying something without needing to say much at all.

You’re loved. You’re welcome. Sit down. Eat something good.

That’s what I want Second Spoon to feel like.
